Urban Forest Restoration of Longfellow Creek with King Conservation District
February 18, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
| FreeJoin KCD and the Green Seattle Partnership to help restore habitat on Longfellow creek in West Seattle. Longfellow Creek is the second largest of only four salmon streams in Seattle of which only 2 are in the Duwamish watershed. Every year, salmon return to the creek but few make it all the way to spawning due to degraded habitat. This where we need your help!
Come join our ongoing efforts to replace invasive ivy and blackberry with native trees and shrubs to give our salmon safe shelter, clean water and food.
